STATS Component is an add-on for NGSPortal.
This component interfaces with popular web statistics software (reference
implementation works with AWSTATS). It
allows to generate web stats pages using two levels of detail:
- Page Level - page access is tracked using database and used to
automatically generate the "Most Popular Page" ranking page.
Optionally, the page access can also be tracked using log files and used as
input to webstats generation using AWSTATS.
- Portlet Level - portlet access is tracked using Jetspeed's standard
Portlet Stats service and used as input to webstats generation using AWSTATS.
